The Trauma Centre for Survivors of Violence and Torture is committed to addressing trauma through inclusive healing processes to build a nonviolent society with respect for human rights.
To provide inclusive evidence-based healing processes that addresses the psychosocial needs of our multiple-wounded society through:
- restoring the mental health of survivors of violence and torture by means of inclusive evidence-based healing practices
- capacity- building for laypersons, frontline workers and community in trauma healing both preventative and curative in nature
- local and global strategic partnerships that strengthen interventions, enhances collaboration and shares resources and skills
- advocacy amongst diverse stakeholders through education and research.
